The 2026 Honda XL750 Transalp E-Clutch is built for riders who want freedom without limits. It is light enough for everyday use, comfortable enough for long-distance touring and tough enough to handle the roads less travelled. Whether you are commuting through Dublin, heading across the country for the weekend or exploring gravel trails, the Transalp is designed to make every ride feel natural, controlled and exciting.

At the heart of the XL750 Transalp is Honda’s 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. It delivers strong, flexible performance with 67.5kW of power and 75Nm of torque, giving the bike the punch needed for motorway cruising, overtaking and two-up touring, while still feeling manageable and easy to ride. The 270-degree crank gives the engine a characterful feel, with smooth response and plenty of usable torque through the rev range.

The major highlight of this model is Honda E-Clutch. This clever system allows the rider to pull away, change gear and stop without using the clutch lever. In traffic, on hills or during slow-speed riding, it makes the bike feel easier and more relaxed. Out on the open road, it gives fast, smooth gear changes while still keeping the direct feel of a manual gearbox. If you prefer traditional clutch control, you can still use the clutch lever at any time.

The Transalp is also designed to adapt to different riding conditions. Selectable riding modes allow the bike to be tailored for road, rain, gravel and sportier riding, adjusting power delivery, engine braking, traction control and ABS intervention. A custom User Mode is also available, giving riders the freedom to set the bike up exactly how they like it.

Comfort and control are central to the Transalp’s appeal. The upright riding position gives excellent visibility, while the 850mm seat height and balanced chassis make the bike easy to manage at low speed and stable on longer journeys. Long-travel Showa suspension, a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel give the Transalp genuine adventure ability, while the fairing and screen help reduce fatigue on longer rides.
