Workshop Coordinator

Location: Megabikes Ballymount, Dublin 22

Megabikes, one of Ireland’s leading motorcycle dealerships, is currently hiring a Workshop Coordinator for our Ballymount, Dublin 22 location.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and customer service skills who wants to build a long-term career in the motorcycle or motor trade industry.

Megabikes is an official dealer for leading motorcycle brands including Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa, Piaggio and Suzuki. With two Dublin locations, we are proud to serve riders across Ireland through motorcycle sales, servicing, parts and accessories.

Our Ballymount workshop is a busy, professional environment handling servicing, warranty repairs, diagnostics and bike preparation. The Workshop Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly.

The Role

This is a full-time position based at our Ballymount workshop in Dublin 22. The Workshop Coordinator is the central point of contact between customers, mechanics and parts suppliers, ensuring the efficient flow of all incoming and outgoing motorcycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day coordination and administration of the motorcycle workshop
  • Managing booking-in, tracking and handover of workshop vehicles
  • Preparing job cards and allocating work to mechanics in line with capacity
  • Estimating and invoicing customers accurately and efficiently
  • Ordering and preparing required parts in advance
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers regarding parts availability
  • Handling warranty-related administration and documentation (full training provided)
  • Maintaining accurate workshop records using company systems
  • Communicating clearly with customers regarding job progress, timelines and costs
  • Supporting continuous improvement of workshop processes

Systems & Training

  • Role is heavily reliant on the workshop computer operating system
  • Basic computer literacy required (email, data entry, navigating systems)
  • Full training on internal systems and processes will be provided

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in a workshop, service desk or motor trade environment preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail, particularly in pricing and invoicing
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in motorcycles or mechanical environments is an advantage
